About Me

I am a development professional with over 25 years of experience advancing gender-responsive energy and climate policies, as well as delivering programs in emerging economies in Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Eastern Europe, and Latin America, for a wide range of donors (ADB, AfDB, JICA, UNDP, USAID, US State Department,  World Bank). My expertise lies in expanding energy access and strengthening climate resilience through inclusive, evidence-based policy development. I have a strong track record of shaping high-level policy, guiding national action plans, and leading cross-sectoral strategies aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals. I bring extensive skills in research, program design and implementation, stakeholder engagement, and mainstreaming gender equality, disability, and social inclusion (GEDSI). I am also adept at monitoring, evaluating, and reporting on outcomes.  Recognized as an effective mentor and results-oriented leader, I have built and nurtured lasting relationships across various geographies and have successfully led multi-disciplinary teams in complex global settings. Academically, I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and a Master’s degree in Public Policy.  I am nearing the completion of my PhD in International Development. My doctoral research examines the experiences of women of color in international development through the lenses of critical race theory and intersectionality, focusing on dynamics of power, oppression, and privilege.
